Transaction safety tips

Transactions on Nearito usually happen directly between explorers and providers. Protect yourself proactively:

• Read descriptions, return policies, and rental terms before agreeing.
• Meet in public, well-lit places when picking up or returning items.
• Avoid paying the full amount before confirming shop and listing details.
• Keep messages, photos, and receipts related to the transaction.
• Decline unusual requests — off-platform deals, prices that seem too good, or pressure to pay immediately.

Recognizing suspicious behavior

Stay alert and report if you encounter:

• Photos or descriptions that don't match the actual item.
• New shops with duplicate posts or unusually low prices.
• Payment requests through unclear or unverified channels.
• Harassing messages or sexual, violent content.
• Phishing links that lead outside the platform.

Protecting your account

Use a strong password, never share login credentials, and sign out on shared devices.

If you suspect unauthorized access, change your password immediately and contact support through the Contact page.

Reporting violations

When you find violating content or behavior, submit a report through the Contact page with the listing/shop URL, a short description, and screenshots if available.

Nearito may hide, remove content, or suspend violating accounts. We don't disclose case-by-case enforcement details for security reasons, but we'll notify you when appropriate.
